The art of Alexander Calder has been celebrated and examined at some length in numerous exhibitions. However, his work in the field of jewelry is not as known, since it has been a small component in his large survey exhibitions. The jewelry's three-dimensional aspects have been hammered, shaped, chiseled and composed piece by piece, in a fashion that precisely echoes the artist's creativity. This exhibit will consist of one hundred objects necklace, bracelets, pins, earrings, and crowns.
