David Monsour began his career in real estate more than 30 years ago as a sales associate and investor in Pennsylvania. In addition to assisting his clients with the purchase of residential real estate, he purchased and managed rental property. David is a member of the Jupiter-Tequesta-Hobe Sound Board of Realtors®, Florida Association of Realtors®, and National Association of Realtors®. David has been vacationing in Jupiter for over 20 years before becoming a resident with the purchase of his home in Tequesta in 2000.
David Monsour specializes in the residential and investment property markets. He has been actively involved in community affairs. He served as a board member of the Jefferson County Economic Development Council, two terms as president of the Brookville Chamber of Commerce and president of the Brookville Kiwanis. Also active in fraternal organizations, he is a member of the Eagles and the Elks Clubs. David served as a trustee of BPOE #170 in Butler, Pennsylvania. A life long supporter of The Arc, he served as a Special Olympics volunteer and co-chairperson of a bike hike to raise funds to support the needs of mentally retarded children and adults. David has also shared his expertise by serving as a member of the board of directors and vice president of The Arc Butler County in Pennsylvania.
David Monsour earned undergraduate and graduate degrees from Slippery Rock State College, now Slippery Rock University, and a doctoral degree in education from Indiana University of PA (IUP. David previously served as a public school teacher, principal, and district superintendent. His responsibilities also included operation of the physical plant, budget development and implementation, and capital project planning, development, and funding. In that capacity, he managed four building renovation and additions projects with expenditures that approached $25,000,000. All of the projects came in on time and under budget. As a result of these successful projects, David co-authored and the School Boards Association published an article addressing successful facility planning. He also negotiated real estate sales and leasing agreements for the school board. Much of his success is credited to recognizing the importance of excellence in customer service, and he brings that quality to his clients in the real estate market.
